Job Summary

Work Location:  Porcupine, Northern Ontario

Work Setting: Gold Mine

Type of Assignments: Access control, Administrative duties

Work Conditions: Outside, combinations of sitting, standing and walking

Shift:

4-3 rotation 12 hour shifts, (Expected to work Days, Nights and Weekends)

Wage: $27-$29

Duties:
Supervise security guards
Maintain daily records
Conduct patrols
Assist the security manager
Lead emergency response drills
Conduct inspections for physical and safety hazards
Perform investigations and hold interviews
Monitor alarm systems and other security equipment
Assist employees and visitors during an emergency
Answer and conduct phone calls
Escort individuals from the premises when necessary
Resolve conflicts following the company's protocol

Requirements: 

Valid Ontario Security Guard License 

Valid First Aid Certificate

Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License

Valid Criminal Background Check (done in the past 3 months)

Experience:

The applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada and to be at least 18 years old at the time of applying. Experience in Team Lead position or other Supervisory experience required.
